Man's eternal quest for happiness ends in God. |
 |
This body is a temple of living God. The jiva inside is
Shiva himself. Renouncing the debris of ignorance one should worship
him with the attitude of Soham. Jiva is Shiva and
Shiva is jiva. The one who is trapped by bondage is
jiva and the one who is free from it is Shiva. |
 |
The unity of jiva and Shiva can be realized and
experienced only through Samadhi. |
 |
Samadhi can be induced progressively through various
practices of Kriya Yoga. |
 |
The body is a vehicle for reaching the destination of
self-realization. It must be
kept clean and healthy. However, at the same time too much
attachment with this vehicle should be avoided. |
 |
The way a lotus blossomed in mud remains untouched by it, a Yogi
should remain untouched by worldly attachments. |
 |
Spiritual upliftment is a recipe of self-effort, past and
present deeds and Guru's grace. Guru's grace plays the role of salt
- it might be small in quantity but without which the spiritual life
becomes tasteless. |
 |
Guru can manifest in any living (e.g. a person) or non-living
form (e.g. book). |
 |
Bookish spiritual knowledge is of no use unless it can be
experienced for oneself. |
 |
Irrespective of religion, cast, gender, age and location every
living being has right to strive for spiritual upliftment. |
