Ajapa Gayatri : The Subtle Power of Breath, Mantra & Dhyana — Rediscover the sacred rhythm of your breath. Cultivate inner silence that brings clarity, balance, and resilience in daily life.

Whispers of So—Ham

I sat down to write this week's article, unsure of what would emerge. My first thought was to continue the ongoing series on the Goraksha Shataka, weaving in its subtle wisdom. Then I considered writing something timely for Shravana, a month rich with spiritual resonance. But nothing felt conclusive—no thread seemed to pull me forward. And just then, in that quiet pause, a gentle inspiration stirred. It was as if Goddess Paramba Parameshwari herself whispered through the silence, and what came forth was not an article, but this poetic reflection. Whispers of So—Ham arrived like a breeze—unbidden, complete, and deeply alive.

Whispers of So—Ham

In silence I breathe the name of the One,
Not spoken aloud, yet never undone.
No mantra chanted, no ritual flame—
Still, every breath recalls the same.

I walk through the hush of the inner sky,
Where thought dissolves and self runs dry.
The gaze of the Teacher, a mirror so clear,
Reveals the soul that was always near.

Inhale the truth, exhale the guise—
I am the ocean, I am the rise.
No birth, no death, no separate shore—
I am the breath, and nothing more.

Some writings are crafted; others are received. Whispers of So—Ham feels like the latter—a quiet offering from the inner altar, not meant to be dissected but simply felt. If it resonates with you, let it accompany your breath for a while. Let it echo in the spaces between thoughts. And if you find yourself drawn to its rhythm, perhaps it's the Goddess whispering to you too—in the hush, in the inhale, in the knowing that you are That.

Until next time, may your breath be your mantra and your stillness your guide. With this heartfelt wish, I lay the pen to rest.
